Hot Summer Days

We finally have nice weather in Rexburg, so we decided to buy Ashlynn a swimming pool. She didn't like it as much as I thought she would. The first day we put it up She only sat in one place and didn't move around much. When I was in the pool with her she tried to crawl on top of me to get out of the water. The next day she liked it a lot better. The water was warmer for her and she had some fun playing with her toys in the pool. We also took her to a play in the water at Porter Park. She really didn't like it because there were older kids and it wasn't very warm. We got a couple of pictures and took her out and had a picnic in the park.

4th of July

We are at my patents house for the 4th of July, and they actually had there celebrations this weekend. Ashlynn wasn't really excited about the parade but she seemed to enjoy the fireworks. These are pictures at the parade and of her watching fireworks.

We went fishing on Thursday with Bryan's cousin, Matthew, to Aldous lake. It was really cold and there was still a lot of snow on the ground. Bryan had to push Ashlynn's stroller in a mile and a half.

Ashlynn has been getting into everything and is being very active. The other day I put Ashlynn in her walker (which of course she hates to be in because it ties her down) so I could take care of some things in the other room. When I came back a few seconds latter she was no longer in her walker but was sitting on the kitchen floor. I was completely shocked. I have no idea how she did it, she only had a little red mark on her head.

Fun in the Sun

The weather hasn't been to good lately but yesterday it was very nice so we had a bar-b-que at the park. All of the Strasser cousins came and my parents and brother and sister. Ashlynn enjoys being outside and we took her to feed the ducks while we were at the park. She didn't get very excited about it like I thought she would, but that's okay.
So we just played a couple of games after we ate lunch. We played soccer and ultimate Frisbee. I believe my team won both games.
